Storage Unit Access and Security
Access
At Chelsea Harbour Storage, you have 24/7 access to your unit all year round, giving you complete flexibility whenever you need it.
Most of our storage units are drive-up units, allowing you to park right outside your door for quick and easy loading or unloading. For units that aren’t directly drive-up, you’ll still be within a maximum of 15 metres from your vehicle, ensuring effortless access.
4 hours Parking for load/unload and 15 minute grace period for daily use.
Our car parks have a height limit of 1.9 metres, but we also provide a covered loading bay for vans and HGVs — offering a dry, convenient space to unload your belongings. (Please give us 48 hours notice if you require a loading bay)
Security
Chelsea Harbour Storage provides exceptional security.
We are equipped with 24-hour CCTV surveillance and have onsite security team patrolling the premises overnight and throughout the day.
We can provide locks at an additional cost or you can choose your own. Only you have access to the key and in the event you lose your key, our security team can cut the lock.

You can store furniture, electronics (without batteries), business inventory, sports equipment, collectibles, business documents, student room storage, Airbnb contents, e-commerce stock and much more. However, hazardous materials, perishable goods, and illegal items are prohibited.
Our facilities are protected 24/7 with CCTV surveillance and on-site security. Each unit is fitted for an individual lock — you can use your own, or we can provide one at an additional cost.
Yes, items stored within the space are required to be insured as Chelsea Harbour cannot be held accountable for any damage.

Yes, you will need to arrange for your own padlock to ensure that you are the only person with access to the storage. Padlocks can be provided at an additional cost.

Our Chelsea Self Storage units serve all of London. In particular South West, West and North West London. They are particularly useful for residents of Chelsea, Fulham, Battersea, Kensington and the surrounding areas.
You can move immediately provided that the deposit has been paid and agreement signed.
We require a direct debit/upfront payment and can accept credit or debit cards.
You will need to make your own arrangement to bring goods into the storage unit for example bringing a trolley with you if required.
If you are coming in a vehicle with a height exceeding 1.90m, we need a minimum of 48 hours to ensure the Loading Bay can accommodate you. If coming by car, simply give us your registration and we grant up to 4 hours of parking on the day of load-in and load-out.

No, storage units are for storage only, not for working or living, due to health and safety.
Once your identity has been confirmed, the on-site team will cut the lock from your storage room so you are able to access it immediately. It will be necessary to acquire a new lock for your room after this, so it is advised that this is only a last resort option.
If you let us have vehicle registration in advance, we will allocate 4 hours free parking for loading and unloading, after this you will be able to access the carpark for 15 minutes as many times as you need. After that 15 minutes, parking starts at £4.
